Who are we?
We are a research group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working on the Connected and Automated Vehicle Highway System (CAVH). The CAVH system is an automated driving system that utilizes both the automated vehicle and intelligent roadside infrastructure to efficiently achieve high levels of automated driving (read more).
What is this website all about?
The new website features the introduction of our group members, research projects our group have done in the past, the lists of papers and patents we have published, as well as the most up-to-date news and current projects we are working on.
If you are interested in our team, you are always welcome to attend one of our team’s weekly meetings, the detailed information of which can be found under the upcoming event. If you want to learn more about the CAVH system alone, you can also find related coursework taught by Professor Bin Ran (read more).
