We are a research group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
We aim to develop innovative and implementable automated driving systems and solutions to meet various mobility needs to serve all types of travelers, vehicles, and road infrastructure. Our approaches leverage the collaboration and connection among all the transportation entities and the optimized distribution of various driving tasks. We believe this collaboration system will be the leading solution for automated driving systems in the future.
Thus, we have designed a Connected and Automated Vehicle Highway (CAVH) system as the ground framework and have published multiple patents and research papers related to the CAVH system.
